Waveform Selection
Dragging the waveform creates a selection area. You can move the entire area, adjust the handles on both sides, and specify values down to 1ms by entering the start and end seconds.
Sample-level Editing
Mute changes selected samples to 0, and Cut and Delete pull trailing samples forward. Paste inserts the memory clip at the current playback position.
Voice Effects for Selected Section
Low Pitch, High Pitch, and Child Voice change the pitch while maintaining the original length, and Robot rapidly modulates the amplitude. You can preview the selected section before applying, and short crossfades are added at the boundaries.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Outside input fields, use Space to Play/Pause, and Ctrl+Z or Cmd+Z (on macOS) to Undo. Ctrl+Shift+Z, Cmd+Shift+Z, Ctrl+Y, or Cmd+Y are for Redo.
Undo and Memory
Uncompressed voice samples (PCM) for editing are kept per channel. The Undo history is automatically limited to a maximum of 12 steps and an approx. 256MB limit depending on file size, and is cleared when a new file is opened.
WAV and MP3
WAV creates highly compatible 16-bit uncompressed audio quickly. Audio processing features needed for MP3 saving and pitch effects are prepared on first use, reducing preparation time on the same editing screen.
Browser File Support
MP3 and WAV can be opened in general modern browsers. M4A, AAC, and OGG can be edited when the operating system and browser support the audio compression method in the file.
What is the difference in output length between deleting and muting audio?
Drag to select the required section on the waveform and play it first. Delete/Cut removes the selected section and pulls the remaining audio forward. Mute leaves the length of the section intact and only silences that part.
If it's a recording that needs to match a video's length, the difference between mute and delete is crucial. Paste inserts audio at the playback position, so check your cursor location. Before saving, listen to the areas before and after the editing boundaries to ensure they don't cut off awkwardly.

Frequently asked questions
Is audio uploaded to the server?
No. Opening files, editing samples, waveform previews, and resulting conversions are executed solely in the current browser.
Do low pitch and high pitch change gender?
No. It is an effect that changes only the pitch and timbre of the selected section without determining or changing a person's gender.
Where does Paste get inserted?
It gets inserted at the current time of the playback position, set by clicking or playing the waveform.
Why do long files use a lot of memory?
Because even compressed audio must be decompressed into uncompressed samples per channel for editing, and waveform playback data and Undo states are also kept.
Is MP3 created immediately offline?
It might be possible if the encoder was cached previously. For your first visit in a completely offline state, please use WAV.
Do editing results overwrite the original?
No. The original file is not modified, and you download a new WAV or MP3 file.
Can I pick an audio section and save it?
Yes. Open the file, select the section, and save only that part.
Does anything process automatically on open?
No. Nothing is processed automatically.
Does a small waveform mean the sound is quiet?
The waveform helps you locate positions and sections, but it doesn't tell you about the listening environment. Play the selected section yourself to judge.
How do I make sure my edits don't disappear?
Save the required results as WAV or MP3. Opening a new file clears the existing edit history and clipboard, so verify your results before switching to another file.
