What This Tool Does

It is not an AI tool that writes new text. It inserts Excel values into the changeable parts of a pre-made Word template.

How do I create multiple Word documents with different names using an Excel list?

If you find yourself copying the same notice and changing the name and department every time, try marking the placeholders in a Word template and connecting an Excel list. This tool creates DOCX files by filling the template with list values without you having to rewrite text or send emails.

In the Word template, write a pair of curly braces where the values should go, like {Name} for the name and {Department} for the department. In the first row of Excel, write column names like Name and Department, and input the data from the second row onwards. After selecting the files, map each column to a template field, and generate one document first to check the layout, numbers, and dates.

Examples and Selection Help

Word Template:

Hello, {Name}.

Department: {Department}

Please check the training schedule.

Excel List:

Name

Department

Min-su Kim

Sales Team

Seo-yeon Lee

Operations Team

For example, if you set the file naming rule to {Name}_Notice.docx, files will be created individually like 'Min-su Kim_Notice.docx' and 'Seo-yeon Lee_Notice.docx'. Try generating one document as a test to see if you get the desired output.

Frequently asked questions

Which templates can I use?

Use a standard DOCX with simple {name} variables and no loops or conditions. DOCM, encrypted documents and image insertion tags are unsupported.

Can formula cells be inserted?

Only calculation results saved in the spreadsheet are used. Rows with missing cached results or real cell errors fail.

Are files or results sent to a server?

No. Template inspection, table reading and DOCX, ZIP and report generation happen in the current browser.
