Salary, Holiday Pay & Severance Calculator

Easily estimate net monthly salary, weekly holiday pay, and legal severance pay based on the latest social insurance rates.

Use this tool directly in your browser without installing software or signing in.

Net Pay

Estimates social insurance and monthly income tax based on the monthly taxable salary (excluding non-taxable allowances like meals) and the number of dependents. It may vary depending on the company's reported standard monthly income, non-taxable items, and withholding rates.

Severance Pay

Reflects the wages of the 3 months before retirement and 3/12 of the recent year's bonuses and annual leave allowances. The total number of days for 3 months includes calendar dates including holidays. Separate verification is needed if the calculated average wage is lower than the ordinary wage.

Why is the estimated amount different from my actual payslip?

Monthly salary, taxable income, and non-taxable allowances might not be the same values. Read the guide for each input field, enter the appropriate amounts, and then review the resulting insurance and tax items separately.

These results are simplified calculations based on input conditions. They may differ from your actual pay slip due to the company's reported amounts, applied standards, actual attendance, and settlement methods. If the difference is significant, do not just look at the calculation result; check the input amounts, dependents, base date, and each deduction item on your slip together.

Examples and Selection Help

Display the actual applied year / update date / input assumptions / excluded items under "Standards used for calculation" below the results. Do not hardcode legal figures and tax rates in the manuscript; fetch them from verified calculation data.

Frequently asked questions

Is the entered salary saved?

No. All values are calculated only in the current screen state and browser memory.

Can I use it for tax reporting?

No. It is an estimated value for reference, and actual withholding and severance pay should be verified with the company's payroll manager or relevant authorities.

Is the calculation wrong if it differs slightly from my pay slip?

First, check if the entered salary base and the taxable/non-taxable/deduction items on the actual slip match. This tool's simplified calculation cannot reflect the reporting and settlement differences of every company.

Can I use these results as the basis for final company settlement?

These are reference values for preliminary checking. Actual payroll and severance settlements must be processed by checking work records and applied standards.
