Public Holidays
Calculates solar public holidays, Seollal, Chuseok, Buddha's Birthday, and substitute holidays. Fixed election days and temporary holidays are also reflected in the yearly list. Please manually add company holidays.
Annual Leave
Applies the basic accrual structure under the Labor Standards Act, but the actual granted days may vary depending on the company's fiscal year operation and time-and-attendance settlement methods.
How do I include company-specific holidays in the business day calculation?
Distinguish between the total days between two dates on a calendar and the number of business days excluding weekends and public holidays. Days off specific to the company, like a founding anniversary or departmental holiday, must be added manually as custom holidays.
Leave calculations are reference results based on the entered reference date and calculation method. Generated leave is different from the remaining leave after usage, so always verify the actual remaining days against the company's usage records. It's also best to check if newly designated holidays are reflected before calculating.
Examples and Selection Help
Adding a company holiday as a custom holiday changes the business-day count even for the same date range. Add company-specific days off manually and distinguish them from official public holidays when checking the result.
Frequently asked questions
Are temporary holidays automatically reflected?
Confirmed public holidays reflected in the yearly list are automatically calculated. If recent government announcements are not yet reflected, or if it's a company-specific day off, please add it manually.
Is the final leave settlement upon resignation identical?
No. Resignation settlements require checking both the accrued leave based on the joining date and the number of days used at the company.
The results for the hire date basis and fiscal year basis are different.
This is because the reference periods used to group and calculate leave are different. Confirm the standard your company uses first, and check the generation, usage, and settlement histories separately.
Are the displayed leave days the ones I have left?
The reference value calculated for generation structure is different from the remaining balance after usage. Verify with your actual usage history and company settlement standards.
