How do I save the final file after editing the document?
Drop or choose one supported file to move to the focused workspace, prepare the editor, and open the document automatically.
First download
The first start downloads about 33 MB, including a Korean fallback font. A byte-based progress bar and current step are shown, and the files are cached for later visits.
Closing editor
Pressing 'Save and download' downloads the current document and keeps the editor open so you can continue editing.
You can select a file even before preparation is complete
When you open the page, the browser prepares the Office editing environment. Initially, it may take some time to download the program and fonts, but from the next launch, you can reuse the saved program files. While checking the progress guide, select or drop the file you want to edit.
Once ready, the selected document will open. While editing the document, use the editor's menus and save tools instead of the site's search bar. When finished, please receive the result file via Save & Download. Reopen the downloaded file to verify fonts, pagination, and formula results before sharing.
Examples and Selection Help
You can select a file while the editing environment is preparing, but wait until preparation is complete before opening it. Follow the current opening and download status, then reopen the saved file to verify the result.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the first start large?
A browser build of the office suite and its fonts and resources must be stored locally. Later starts can reuse the cache.
Does dropping a file open it automatically?
Yes. Dropping one supported file moves to the focused workspace, prepares the editor and opens the document in one flow.
Does it include a Korean font?
A Korean fallback font is included, though documents requiring proprietary fonts can have different spacing or line breaks.
Is this an official Microsoft Office web app?
No. It is a LibreOffice-based browser editor and compatibility can differ from Microsoft Office.
Are HWP files supported here?
Use the dedicated HWP editor for HWP/HWPX files. This editor focuses on Writer, Calc, and Impress formats.
